Back of the Bus Campaign

At our winter conference in 2015 one of the community projects proposed was a Back of the Bus Campaign to prompt our community to start conversations about choices at the end of life. Many thanks to Lori Nichols, who took the lead for this project.

Empathy Card Project

A “Get Well Soon” card is often not appropriate when one of your family or friends is diagnosed with a serious or life-threatening illness. The Empathy Card Project provides an opportunity to design and make cards that speak truthfully from the heart.  The Palliative Care Institute make this card station available at many conferences and community events.
